Following a 6 year run as a stand up comedian out of Chicago (starting at the tender age of 19), Russ quickly transformed his years of experience on the road into a television writing career. Eager to cut his teeth, he made the move to Los Angeles and began writing in every imaginable genre, including several docu-series, as well as story producing on many hit reality shows. Russ has also written in animation for multiple seasons on series for Disney and Dreamworks and more recently, has produced the documentary feature documentary film One Fall and has also created the adult-animated series Headliners.
